Portfolios

A portfolio is where your agents run and where your holdings live. Every agent execution is tied to a portfolio, and you can track performance, positions and the agents working on it from a single page.

There are two types of portfolio:

  • Demo — a paper-trading wallet with virtual capital. Perfect to test ideas risk-free.

  • Real — an account linked to a connected broker (see Connectors), for live trading.

Creating a portfolio

From the Portfolios section, click Add portfolio and choose the type.

Demo portfolio

  • Name your portfolio.

  • Set the cash your agents can spend (defaults to $10,000).

  • Optionally seed holdings — add positions with a quantity and average price.

  • Or import an existing portfolio: upload a screenshot or a CSV / XLSX / PDF export from any broker, or copy a connected account. Obside detects the holdings for you to review.

Real portfolio

  • Pick your broker from the list of supported platforms.

  • Authorize the connection (broker portal or API key).

Some connections are read-only (most crypto exchanges today): they let you read and monitor positions, but not place live orders. Live execution runs through brokers connected via SnapTrade. See Availability by region.

The portfolio page

Each portfolio has a detail page with:

  • Portfolio value — an equity curve over time, with Value / PnL views and a Compare to a benchmark option to overlay an index or asset.

  • Allocation — a breakdown of your holdings, by asset or by class (crypto, stocks, ETFs, FX, indices, futures, commodities, cash).

  • Holdings — every position with its quantity, value, weight and P&L, plus a cash row. On demo portfolios you can add capital or adjust positions directly. Pending orders appear below.

  • Active agents — the agents currently running on the portfolio, each with its exposure and P&L. You can add an agent or stop one from here.

  • Trades — the orders and trades executed on the portfolio, filterable by agent.

Weekly recap

On the Plus plan and above, Obside generates a weekly recap of your portfolio — its week decoded in a one-minute read, delivered after the market week closes. It's included in your plan and doesn't consume credits. Manage the recap email in Notification channels.

Plans & limits

  • Portfolio monitoring (detail pages, value curves, weekly recap) is available on the Plus plan and above. See Pricing.

  • Demo portfolios are unlimited.

  • Real portfolios depend on your broker connections: 1 on Free, unlimited on paid plans.
